Pear Tree Mead - Partners in Learning

Welcome to Pear Tree Mead Primary & Nursery School

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Pear Tree Mead Primary and Nursery School, where our aim is for all to be happy, safe and learning.

We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating environment with exciting resources and opportunities for all our children.

We have a strong, dedicated staff team who have the interests of every child at heart. Our robust system of support for pupils and families and close interaction with parents/carers ensures that all can be actively involved in the children's education.

Happy, Safe & Learning

School Mission Statement

Pupils will:

         * grow in confidence and independence in a positive, happy, safe and creative environment.

         * be active learners engaged in broad, creative, exciting experiences using up to date facilities and

           technologies.

         * be enthusiastic learners who reach their full potential, work collaboratively, celebrate personal

achievements and understand that it is "cool to be clever" and it is "ok to take risks". We learn from our

           mistakes.

We promote inclusion of the whole community into the life of Pear Tree Mead.

Pear Tree Mead will be a place where:

        *  pupils are supported educationally, socially, spiritually and emotionally for life. We are concerned for the

           whole child.

        * parents/carers are actively involved in their children's school life and where their own developments are

          valued.

        * we value the enrichment that families bring to our school.

Most importantly we listen to our pupils and respond to their needs. Our exciting curriculum ensures that we teach our pupils the basic skills required for their future.
