End of Spring 2 Term March 2018
We are fast approaching our Easter Holiday. This has been a fun week with Easter egg hunts, our Easter Assembly run by the children and an assembly run by the Reverend Richard from St Stephens Church. I really enjoyed helping the school council judge the Easter bonnets and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Friends of Pear Tree Mead for supplying the prizes.
On Saturday 24th March 2018, I was very proud to be part of our school community and attend the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. It was a very successful fund raiser and it was lovely to see the children who took part in the Young Voices and the Cheerleading competition performing so confidently. We are excited to announce that Bunnings have also agreed to help support us with some other outdoor projects in the near future and we look forward to developing our links with local businesses.
On Monday 16th April 2018, an inset day, we will be reviewing the schools vision and mission statements as a whole staff and governing body. We have been speaking to the children about how they see the future of our school and we would like to thank all the parents who provided us with their input.
I hope that you all have a lovely Easter break and enjoy some relaxing family time. We look forward to seeing you all next term. The summer term always promises lots of hard work, followed by lots of fun.
We are all looking forward to the challenges that are ahead of us during the summer term.
