End of Autumn 2 Statement
We have almost made it to Christmas after what has been an extremely busy half-term. The children enjoyed making crafts for the Christmas bazaar and their creative days and class parties.
We hope you have enjoyed watching our annual Christmas productions and I’m sure you will agree that the children all performed superbly. I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff involved who helped to make the productions so successful. We look forward to the productions from Years 2, 4 and 6 later in the year.
For the first time we are looking forward to two annual Christmas services at St Stephens church. On the 18th December at 1.30pm Year 5 will lead the service for Reception, Yr 1 and Yr 2 and on the 19th December at 9.30am Year 6 will lead the service for Yr 3, Yr 4 and Yr 5. Parent’s are welcome to attend these services.
Having talked to other Headteachers this term, it has come to light that we are very lucky at PTM. Some schools have no PTA and therefore have no school fundraising events for children and families. We are extremely lucky to have parents and staff who volunteer their time to organise great events for our children and at the same time raise much needed funds for the school. Thank you to my staff and our parents for all your time and hard work.
I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy some well deserved family time. We look forward to welcoming you back to Pear Tree Mead in 2020.
